A distinctive feature of the collection is the integrated carillon, which plays the notes of \u201cNessun dorma\u201d from the opera Turandot, chosen to pay tribute to the centenary of Puccini’s last creation, which will be celebrated worldwide in 2026.<\/p>

The decision to include a carillon is not only a poetic tribute, but also has its roots in a real episode in the Maestro’s life. While composing Turandot, Puccini had the opportunity to listen to an oriental carillon\u2014a small musical treasure chest belonging to Baron Edoardo Fassini-Camossi\u2014which played authentic Chinese melodies.
Those new sounds, suspended between enchantment and exoticism, sparked a decisive creative enthusiasm in him, profoundly influencing the musical atmosphere of the opera. For this reason, the clock and its carillon were conceived as a refined reference to that spark of inspiration: a sonic tribute that links the timepiece to the very birth of Turandot, transforming each note into a living memory of Puccini’s genius.<\/p>
